Terms of service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

The short version: Repubbed is a free public beta for archiving your own published content. Your content stays yours. Don’t import things you don’t have rights to, don’t abuse the service, and know that beta limits and permanent deletes apply.

1. The service

Repubbed is a personal, searchable archive of content you have published — blog posts, videos, emails, and social posts. You import your own content; Repubbed stores and organizes it for you. Repubbed does not publish, repost, or share anything on your behalf.

2. Beta status

Repubbed is currently a free public beta. That means:

  • No payment is required and no billing exists yet.
  • Per-account limits apply (currently 2,000 content items and 2 GB of mirrored image storage, plus daily import caps). Limits can be raised on request while the beta is free.
  • Features may change, and occasional rough edges or downtime are possible. We’ll always try to protect your data first.

3. Your content

  • You keep all rights to the content you import. Repubbed claims no ownership of it.
  • You’re responsible for having the right to store what you import — your own published work, or material you’re otherwise allowed to keep a personal copy of.
  • You can export your full archive at any time, and delete any or all of it. Deletes are permanent; the export is your backup.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t use Repubbed to:

  • store or distribute unlawful content, malware, or content you have no rights to;
  • probe, overload, or interfere with the service or other users’ data;
  • resell or offer Repubbed’s functionality to third parties.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Accounts

Sign-in is by email magic link. Keep access to your email account secure — anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. One account per person, please.

6. No warranty

Repubbed is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data — export regularly, especially before big deletions.

7. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Danger zone, which removes your content, images, and sign-in account. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, and will otherwise give reasonable notice if the beta ever winds down — with time to export.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted in the app. Continuing to use Repubbed after a change means you accept the updated terms.
